Tony kart wins at akc rd 5
The Tony Kart Racer 401RR was successful at winning KA3 Senior at the final round of the Australian Championships with Hugh McGuire.
In KA3 Senior, Hugh McGuire qualified in 7th position and drove cleanly through out the heats to put himself at the front for the final. After a hard battle McGuire grabbed the victory. After qualifying in in 20th position, Gus Hall moved his way forward during the event to finish the final in 11th position. Rio Campbell qualifed back in the pack in 33rd position, however showed his true speed during the heats to cross the finish line in 13th place. Thomas Patching qualified in 40th place and luck didn't go his way unfortunately during the heats which meant he missed out on the final by 1 position.
In Cadet 12, Oscar Corless qaulified in 34th position and while fighting for positions in the final came into contact with any kart causing a DNF. Felix Jia qualified in 57th position and after tough heats unfortunately did not make the final.
In KA3 Juior we had Nick Speed & Jake Ristell. Jake qualified in 27th place with Nick in 36th. Both drivers had tough heats races but both made it into the final. At the finished line, Nick was 26th while Jake was in 33rd position.
