On the weekend of 28-29 January, the 2nd round of the Rotax Pro Tour was held at the Todd Road circuit in Melbourne, Victoria.

The first round for the 2011/12 Rotax Pro Tour was held at the Canberra Kart Racing track on October 29-30.

Tony Kart Australia driver Aidan Wright claimed his maiden victory in the KF1 class in the final round of the Stars of Karting CIK Championships at Newcastle.

On the occasion of the 4th round of the CIK-FIA World Karting championships, the Tony Kart materials powered by Vortex engines enabled a World Cup victory for Loris Spinelli in KF2. Also taking his own double victory was official driver Flavio Camponeschi in KF1 taking out both races 3 & 4 on Sunday.
